South Coast Jamaica Tours

Tour the South Coast of Jamaica and hit spots like Black River, YS Falls, Mandeville and Spanish Town on your way to Kingston for some real Jamaican flavor and experience the wonder and variety of this stretch of the island.

From pickup at the airport in Mobay or a hotel anywhere along the way we’ll drive you down the south coast of Jamaica following the A2 highway between Negril on the West End and Kingston or Port Antonio on the East Coast. Trips can be personalized to stop at anyone or more of the following locations along the way for as short or as long as you wish.

Whitehouse

Drop in on the Whitehouse fishing village and spend some time at the local fish market where you can purchase fresh catch of the day or grab a bite of some good cooked Jamaican food.

Bluefields / Belmont

Bluefields Beach is one of those perfect serence places where the land ends and the sea begins. Sit on a picture perfect beach with little to no one else around you on even the busiest day. Bluefields is one of the hidden gems of the South Coast and a sweet beach trip.

Belmont is home to Peter Tosh Museum where you can pay respect to the Reggae legend and original member of The Wailers with Bob Marley. The museum is just past Bluefields beach and makes a great place to enjoy a spliff if that’s your thing or you can possibly pick up some new music CD’s from the many musicians and artists in the area.

Black River

Black River Safari and river tours are a must see for anyone interested in the any eco tours in Jamaica and a great way to experience Jamaican wildlife. We have some great photos from our trips to Black River and have been lucky enough to see some Jamaican crocodiles and lots of birds and other beautiful creatures like lizzards and a black snake.

Treasure Beach

Treasure Beach is the hidden part of the South Coast where people go to see nothing but beach and sunsets or the occasional local at the watering hole. Treasure Beach is a quiet fishing village near the southern point of the island which has seen little to no development and is considered still to be much like Jamaica was so many years ago. You can feel the difference in Treasure Beach and the people are much nicer there. Tours of Treasure Beach are great for the nature lover or anyone intersted in seeing the natural beauty of Jamaica.

Treasure Beach Jamaica

Santa Cruz / Mandeville

up high in the mountains its much cooler and this seems to make the people of Mandeville just a little sweeter than the rest of the country. It’s a suburban area with lots of nice well developed homes and a place much different from the dirty cities and far away rural places of Jamaica.

Spanish Town

Kingston

No visit to Jamaica would be complete without a trip to the former most dangerous city in the world and anyone who gets the chance to see Kingston will never forget it. The city is a harsh place with lots of glitz and glam to cover over the poverty of the ghetto. Kingston has it all from slums to superhighways and the best dancehalls in the world this town has been known to through some of the best parties in the world in a city where half the people are hungry. Take a trip outside of Kingston and tour the Blue Mountains of Jamaica for a unique experience at 7000 feet above sea level.
