Did you know that Jamaica offers some of the best cave exploration opportunities in the Caribbean? Cave exploring is great fun and Jamaica has some really nice caves for just about any level of spelunker. From the first time novice and youthful explorers to avid cave dwellers and professional spelunking crews Jamaica has a cave adventure for everyone.

Visit underground caves with mineral spring baths or hike deep into Cockpit Country and visit some of the caves used by Maroons during to hide from slave masters hundreds of years ago.

My camera is not made for taking these type of photographs so the pics are garbage but I have had some fun exploring the cave at Roaring Rivers. It’s certainly a beginners cave experience but much fun for the kids. I’m looking forward to going deeper into Jamaica caves soon.
