So I tried to make it to the Jamaica Fat Tyre Festival in time to catch at east one days ride but things simply did not work out. حتى حاولت ان تجعل من جامايكا الى دهون مهرجان صور في الوقت المناسب لصيد احد الايام في الشرق مطية لكن الامور ببساطة لا يعمل. On the way from Negril to Ochi I was forced to make a stop and repair the front brakes on the Vannette. على الطريق من نيغريل ochi لأنني اضطر الى وقف تقدم واصلاح الفرامل الاماميه على vannette. I have been having some trouble finding the parts for it and we had to take advantage of the opportunity to get the repairs done before we continued on any further long distance trips. لقد كان وجود بعض المتاعب العثور على اجزاء لأنها ، وكان علينا ان نستفيد من الفرصة للحصول على الاصلاحات واصلت القيام به قبل ونحن على أي رحلات لمسافات طويلة. The brakes were in need of repair and so we took a half day break in Mobay at the auto mechanics. الفرامل كانت في حاجة الى اصلاح وذلك اتخذنا نصف يوم في كسر mobay في ميكانيكا السيارات. This blew out the rest of my travel plans and we ended up arriving in Ocho Rios to late in the day for any riding with the crew in Robins Bay. هذا فجر بها بقية بلدي خطط السفر وانتهى ونحن في وصوله الى اوتشو ريوس في وقت متأخر من اليوم لركوب أي مع الطاقم فى خليج روبينز. We decided instead to spend the day at Cranbrook Flower Forest which was absolutely awesome but probably not quite as much fun as mountain biking for dad at least. وقررت بدلا من ذلك الى اننا اليوم في انفاق Cranbrook زهرة الغابات التي كانت مرعبه على الاطلاق ولكن ربما ليست واردة على قدر ما متعة ركوب الدراجات الجبليه لابى على الاقل. We did however make it over to Oracabessa in St Mary and spent the day at James Bond Beach for the 1st Annual Jamaica Bicycle Bash put on by بيد اننا لم تجعل الى oracabessa في شارع ماري وقضى اليوم في شاطئ جيمس بوند السنويه الاولى لجامايكا دراجة وضعت في طريق اللكمه SMORBA Smorba , the Saint Mary Off Road Bicycle Association. ، وسانت ماري من الطريق الرابطه دراجة. SMORBA is a not for profit organization affiliated to Smorba هى التى لا تستهدف الربح تابعة للمنظمة IMBA Imba that is actively engaged in building and maintaining bicycling opportunities for local residents of Jamaica’s famed North Coast. ان تشارك بنشاط فى بناء وصيانة ركوب بالدرجات الهواءيه الفرص للسكان المحليين في جامايكا الشهير في الساحل الشمالي.
SMORBA is supported by Island Sports , a non profit organization sponsored by Smorba ويدعم الرياضة في الجزيرة ، وهي منظمة غير ربحيه التي ترعاها Island Outpost الجزيرة المخفر which manages the James Bond Beach complex along with a number of large properties on the island, and their goal is to promote their التي تدير مجمع شاطئ جيمس بوند الى جانب عدد من ممتلكات واسعة على الجزيرة ، والهدف من ذلك هو تعزيز Bicycling Works ركوب بالدرجات الهواءيه تعمل program to the benefit of area youth. برنامج لمصلحة شباب المنطقة. The Jamaica Fat Tyre Festival has been held in Negril over the past 8+ years and was primarily an off-road event limited to participation of 3 to 5 Jamaicans and a larger number of international competitors. جامايكا للدهون صور مهرجان اقيمت في نيغريل على مدى السنوات ال 8 سنوات و+ هي قبل كل شيء على الطرق الوعره الحدث يقتصر على الاشتراك من 3 الى 5 الجامايكيين وعدد اكبر من منافسيها الدوليين. This years goal was to open the event up for more community participation and the number of races days was paired down in favor of cycling activities for locals such as the ramp for kids to jump on, the big dirt jumps pictured below we’re reserved for professional dirt jumpers who put on a show and the highlight of the day had to be the Rambolympics. هذه السنوات كان الهدف هو افتتاح هذه المناسبه حتى لمزيد من المشاركة المجتمعيه وعدد من الاجناس ايام كان ازواج تراجع لمصلحة السكان المحليين وركوب الدراجات لانشطه مثل الطريق المنحدر للاطفال للقفز علي ، والقفزات الكبيرة الاوساخ المصوره ادناه نحن محفوظة لل المهنيه الاوساخ من وضع القفز على اظهار وابراز لليوم قد تكون rambolympics.
The Rambolympics were staged to show the ingenious usage of bicycles in Jamaican society. Rambolympics فإن كانت الساحة الرئيسية لاظهار عبقري استخدام الدراجات الهواءيه في المجتمع في جامايكا. A bicycle can be much more than a form of recreation in an impoverished nation like Jamaica and in many cases it can be the sole form of transportation for a person and even an entire family. دراجة يمكن ان تكون أكثر بكثير من مجرد شكل من أشكال الترفيه في أمة فقيرة مثل جامايكا وفي كثير من الحالات ، يمكن ان تكون الوحيدة للمواصلات للشخص بل وجميع افراد العائلة. Watching Jamaicans ride their bicycle to work in the morning one can never expect what to see being carried away in a basket or dangling from the handlebars in a grocers bag as the move about their day. مشاهدة الجامايكيين الركوب على الدراجه الى العمل في الصباح واحد لا يمكن ابدا ان نتوقع ان نرى ما يجري بعيدا في سلة او التعلق من المقاود في كيس كما البقالون التحرك نحو يومهم. The Rambolympics were broken down into three events, the most popular event was a skill test to see how a rider dealt with carrying odd objects that you may find a Jamaican carrying on their bike each day. وقد rambolympics كانت تنقسم الى ثلاث مناسبات ، وكأن الحدث الاكثر شعبية في اختبار مهاره لنرى كيف يمكن التعامل مع رايدر تحمل من الغريب ان الاشياء قد تجد الجامايكي تحمل على الدراجه كل يوم. The ride was three laps around the oval track with the rider being required to pick up a large cumbersome item on each lap. فان كان الركوب ثلاث الاحضان حول المسار البيضاوي مع رايدر حاجة الى التقاط كبير مرهقه في البند المدرج فى كل اللفه. The first lap a rider had to carry and empty Red Stripe case around the field and proceed to the empty gas cylinder so common in kitchens around Jamaica. اللفه الاولى وكان ملحق لتنفيذ فارغه وشريط احمر حول القضية الميدان والمضي قدما الى اسطوانة غاز فارغه حتى في المطابخ المشتركة حول جامايكا. The Red Stripe Case and the empty gas can seemed difficult enough for most riders but it was the final piece that gook most of them out. الشريط الاحمر في القضية والغاز الفارغه يمكن ان يبدو من الصعب بما فيه الكفايه بالنسبة لمعظم سائقي الدراجات البخاريه ولكنه كان النهائية قطعة gook ان معظم بها. The number of Jamaicans seen walking around with a weed whacker can only be surpassed by the number of Jamaicans you see walking around with a machete. عدد الجامايكيين ينظر الى السير على الاقدام نحو الضارب مع الأعشاب ، لا يمكن الا ان يكون من تجاوز عدد من الجامايكيين كنت انظر في جميع انحاء المشي مع بساطور. Carrying one on a bicycle in the streets of Jamaica is a whole different trick and riding with a weedwhacker, an empty gas gan and a case of Red Stripe makes for some damn good fun for everyone. حمل احد على دراجة في شوارع جامايكا هو كل لا يتجزأ وركوب حيل مختلفة مع weedwhacker ، فارغه والغاز غان حالة من الشريط الاحمر يجعل اللعنه جيد بالنسبة لبعض المرح للجميع. This was without doubt the most fun and most popular event with everyone enjoying watching the locals spank the international professionals in every event except of course the pro dirt jumping. وكان هذا دون شك اكثر متعة والاكثر شعبية حدث مع الكل يتمتع السكان المحليون مشاهدة اصفع الدولية للمهنيين في كل حال وبطبيعة الحال الا الموالية للقفز الترابية.
Jamaicans are very resourceful people and they seemed to be more adept at carrying odd loads on their bicycles when compared to their “farrin” competitors. الجامايكيين جدا الحيله وانهم شعب ويبدو ان اكثر من الغريب بارعون في حمل الاحمال على الدراجات الهواءيه إذا ما قورنت ب "farrin" المنافسين. The “white boy” riders from America and Canada were not prepared for the sweltering heat and excitement of the days events and you can see it in their faces. "الفتى الابيض" سائقي الدراجات البخاريه من أميركا وكندا ليست على استعداد للاحترار الحراره والاثاره من ايام الاحداث ويمكنك ان ترى انها في وجوههم. The Jamaican riders are more at home in the tremendous heat and better able to deal with the physical activities of the Rambo race. الجامايكي سائقي الدراجات البخاريه أكثر في البيت في حرارة هاءله واكثر قدرة على التعامل مع الانشطه البدنيه للسباق رامبو. I predicted a Jamaican youth would win and I was right. انا تنبأ الشباب الجامايكي من شأنه أن الفوز الأول وكان على حق. The young man being covered with flour below was the winner of not only the most favored event but he also won the most challenging event when he took the “5 Mile Rambo Race around Oracabessa” which is a three lap loop through the city center ending back at James Bond Beach. الشاب تغطية ادناه مع الطحين وكان الفائز ليس فقط اكثر آثروا الحدث ولكنه كما فازت الحدث الاكثر تحديا عندما تولى "رامبو سباق 5 ميل حول oracabessa" الذي هو حلقة من خلال ثلاثة اللفه وسط المدينة المنتهيه العودة في شاطئ جيمس بوند. IN Jamaica it is a tradition to cover a person in flour in their birthday. في جامايكا هو تقليد لتغطية شخص فى الدقيق في عيد ميلادهم. This was a pretty hot day and it was obvious the sun was taking its toll on the vacationers who had already ridden for 2 or 3 days each. وكان هذا يوم حار وجميلة وكان واضحا الشمس تتخذ خسائره على المصطافون من سبق ان تعصف بها لاو 2 او 3 ايام لكل منهم.
There was a lot of bike riding going on throughout the day and some of the most action was at the dirt jumps with professional riders from around the world showing off their talents to the local youth. وكان هناك الكثير من ركوب الدراجه يحدث طوال اليوم وبعض من اهم الاجراءات في الاوساخ يقفز مع سائقي الدراجات البخاريه من الفئة الفنية من جميع انحاء العالم من اظهار مواهبهم الى الشباب المحلية. Of course the local kids were just waiting for the pro riders to crash on some of the big air jumps they pulled but everyone had a good time and the kids were super stoked to see these pros do their thing. وبطبيعة الحال المحلية اطفال مجرد الانتظار لصالح سائقى الدراجات البخاريه الى تحطم بعض القفزات الكبيرة الجوية انها سحبت ولكن الجميع قد وقتا طيبا واطفال كانوا سوبر مذكي انظر الى هذه الايجابيات الشيء القيام بعملها. Professional Riders Cam McCaul and Kyle Ebbet did some superman style dirt jumps and the residents of Oracabessa loved it. كأم mccaul المهنيه سائقي الدراجات البخاريه وكايل لم ebbet سوبرمان اسلوب بعض الاوساخ ويقفز سكان oracabessa أحب.
The Rambolympics and the Rambo Race around Oracabessa were big fun for the older riders but I think many of the youth actually had more fun riding bikes on the ramp and participating in the bunny hop contest. وقد rambolympics رامبو وسباق نحو oracabessa كانت كبيرة متعة لكبار السن من سائقي الدراجات البخاريه ولكن اعتقد ان العديد من الشباب في الواقع كان أكثر متعة ركوب الدراجات على الطريق المنحدر والمشاركة في مسابقة قفزة الارنب. Jamaicans are very competitive people and each of them was looking to win the Red Bull bunny hop challenge. الجامايكيين تنافسية جدا والناس كل منها تتطلع للفوز الاحمر بول الارنب قفزة التحدي. The goal was to bunny hop your bike over the bamboo rail set on top of stacked cases of Red Bull. والهدف من ذلك هو الارنب قفزة الدراجه الخاصة بك اكثر من الخيزران والسكك الحديديه على رأس مجموعة من الحالات تستيفها من الثور الأحمر. I think they got up to 5 cases before everyone started missing them. اعتقد انهم حصلوا على ما يصل الى 5 في القضايا المعروضة عليها الجميع بدأت في عداد المفقودين.
