Ok, this is actually old news. طيب ، وهذا هو فعلا أخبار قديمة. I went to the ذهبت الى Miss High Times 2008 contest on Negril Beach الانسه عالية مرات 2008 مسابقة على شاطىء نيغريل about two weeks back and I swore I posted the pictures the next day but after looking for them on the site it appears that blog post was lost somewhere in the deep dark internet. نحو أسبوعين إلى الوراء وأنا أقسم أنني نشرت الصور في اليوم التالي ولكن بعد البحث عن موقع لهم على بلوق ويبدو ان وظيفة فقدت في مكان ما من شبكة الانترنت عميقة مظلمة. The contest was fun and it seems everyone enjoyed themselves. المسابقة كانت ممتعه ويبدو ان الجميع يتمتعون انفسهم. I think some still have the idea that ganja grows in huge tall trees in large plantations here in Jamaica and many tourists do not even realize ganja is in fact illegal although tolerated to the point of it being decriminalized to a certain extent. واعتقد ان البعض لا يزال لديهم فكرة ان تنمو في غانجا طويل القامه ضخم الاشجار في المزارع الكبيرة في جامايكا وهنا العديد من السياح لا تدرك حتى غانجا هي في الواقع غير المشروعة على الرغم من التسامح الى درجة انه يجرى decriminalized الى حد ما.
You can feel safe here in Negril with a small quantity in your pocket and know you wont be getting into any serious trouble if you get stopped with it. يمكنك ان تشعر بالامان هنا في نيغريل مع كمية صغيرة في جيبك واعرف انك متعود ان يكون الدخول في اي مشكلة جدية اذا كنت احصل على توقف معها. We have seen cops here in Jamaica ask tourists to put spliffs out who were caught blatantly smoking in public and I have also seen them stand with a group of rastas who were puffing like kings at a reggae show and never say a word to them. ولقد رأينا الشرطة في جامايكا هنا نسأل من السياح الى وضع spliffs بها من واقعه بشكل صارخ التدخين في الاماكن العامة ، وانا كما شهدت لهم الوقوف مع مجموعة من rastas كان من الملوك مثل النفخ في الريغي تظهر ابدا واقول كلمة لهم. I was not even surprised that the event was held in the open at a bar on the beach and everyone was burning lovely with no cops or anyone around. لم أكن حتى دهشه ان هذا الحدث الذي عقد في العراء في نقابه المحامين على الشاطىء وحرق وكان الجميع لا احب مع الشرطة او اي شخص في جميع انحاء. You’re looking at a fine mos often and you might even be able to pay that directly to your arresting police officer and avoid a trip to the jail if don’t use the wrong words like bribe or payoff. كنت تبحث في غرامه اشهر وكنت في كثير من الاحيان ، بل قد تكون قادرة على ان تدفع مباشرة الى حسابك في القاء القبض على ضابط شرطة وتجنب القيام برحلة الى السجن اذا كان لا تستخدم كلمات مثل الخطأ رشوة او مردود. They did not advertise the انها لم تعلن فأن Miss High Times الانسه عالية مرات event locally that I am aware of and I never saw any signs or notice anywhere. ان الحدث محليا وانا على علم ورأيت علامات اي اشعار او في اي مكان. I found out about it online but much of the contest coincided with the Smile Jamaica concert so I missed most of the events including the talent show and swimsuit competition. لقد وجدت انه من اصل نحو الانترنت ولكن الكثير من المسابقة تزامنت مع ابتسامة جامايكا الحفله فأنا ضاعت معظم الأحداث التي وقعت بما في اظهار المواهب والمنافسة كسوه السباحه. I did get the chance to tell a buddy from the States about the show. انا لم احصل على فرصة لاخبر الصديق من الدول عن المعرض. I told him the luck I have had here in Jamaica with people assuming I am a part of the event staff when I show up places with my camera and he went to the bar one night. قلت له الحظ كان لي هنا في جامايكا مع الناس على افتراض انني جزء من حالة الموظفين عندما تظهر اماكن بلدي مع الكاميرا وذهب الى نقابه المحامين ليلة واحدة. He hooked up with the crew and by the end of it all had himself a spot as a judge in the contests. كان النادل واقتادوه مباشرة hooked فيها وقال انه حتى مع الطاقم وبحلول نهاية كل بقعة كان هو نفسه بوصفه قاضيا في المسابقات. He said it appeared to him that وقال انه يبدو له ان High Times ارتفاع مرات was run by a handful of stoners who have been there for quite some time and its not as cool a job as it may seem. كانت تدار من قبل حفنة من stoners من كان هناك لفترة من الزمن وليس باردا وظيفة كما قد يبدو.
