Goodbye Florida and Hello Jamaica!

Welcome to MAX. This blog will offer news and reviews on our Jamaican adventures. The Moya family is moving to this summer for a 6 month adventure. We plan to cover as much of the wonderful island of as we can during our first extended trip with the goal of returning next year on a permanent visa. We’re going to catalog the adventure here for all to see. Lets see how it goes.

About

Moya Family at Dunns Rivers Falls in Ocho Rios Jamaica

Alfred Moya stands next to the Jade Vine at Crankbrook Flower Forest

My name is Alfred and my wife Elise and our two sons AJ and Robby are the Moya Family.

.com began as a blog for me to write about our family trip to in Summer 2007 but then grew into a blog about moving to Jamaica and starting a new business when we decided to make it an extended vacation and try living in Negril . We still live in Negril but we do a lot of traveling in a Nissan Vanette we bought that needs just a likkle TLC but runs like a champ and is ready to ride. I have my Jamaican Drivers License and insurance for up to 6 passengers in my van. We can offer tour space for groups of up to 25 using a Coaster tour bus and driver from our JUTA licensed drivers. The next step is the formation of the MAX Tour Guide and Transportation Service which will be officially opened for business in Jamaica by holidays 2008. I have already registered our Florida Corporation as an Overseas Company to conduct business legally in .

We’re starting out with our existing corporation because it’s already legalized for operations in but we’ll most likely run the tour guide company as a not for profit organization in Florida and a registered non governmental organization (NGO) here in to the benefit of the schools in Negril. We’re going to do our best to make sure the children in this area get the best eduction they can and your business and donations are appreciated. I am in the process of registering our Florida not for profit as an NGO here in so we can legally receive donations but we are still able to receive donations on our Donate page.

Book a tour with MAX or simply follow us along on our adventures as we travel around and see all the wonders of nature and attractions this great country has to offer. At the same time help a school do the most important job and help support the education of the children of Negril by joining us on a personalized tour for your next vacation or by bringing a donation of school supplies for any school in when you travel here. We’re glad you’re here and we hope you take the time to Contact Us with any questions or comments you have.
