Hi, My name is Jane Cave. My husband and I love Jamaica, and the people of Jamaica. We have been looking and trying to find a place in Negril to rent on a long term basis. How did you find a place that is affordable? We don't want to pay more than 400 or 500 a month. Do you stay in a resort or are you up in town somewhere? My husband looked at an apartment when he was there in May that was in an older house in town, they wanted like 300.00 for a month, it had a shared kitchen and we weren't so keen on that idea. If you can give me any advise on making the move to Jamaica, I would love to hear from you. I forgot to give you our profile. I am almost 50 and Rick, my husband is 53. We live in Virginia. We are ready to give up our life and move to Jamaica.
