So it had to happen. وكان ذلك ليحدث. After so many great months I suppose it was inevitable I had to have a bad one or two right? بعد عدة اشهر كبير افترض ان الأول كان لا بد من ان يكون لها سيئة واحد او اثنين على حق؟ I’m hopefully at the end of what I am calling the “ انا نأمل في نهاية انا ما تسميه " Blues” syndrome that happens to many expats here in البلوز "متلازمه ان يحدث لكثير من العمالة الوافدة هنا في . Living in الذين يعيشون في can be tough and when you’re spoiled on things in the States like customer service and more than one choice you sometimes forget that in ويمكن ان يكون صارما وعندما كنت على فسدت الامور في دول مثل خدمة العملاء واكثر من خيار واحد كنت في بعض الأحيان ننسى ان في its a one way or no way attitude if you can evan get it done at all. أ اعمالها بطريقة او بأي شكل من الاشكال موقف ايفان اذا كنت تستطيع الحصول عليها القيام به على الاطلاق. I’ve had a string of bad luck that started with troubles with my websites server, then the internet connection in my home took forever and then it moved on to troubles with my van and now I’m home alone with the kids and no help. لقد كانت سلسلة من الحظ السيئ التي بدأت مع المتاعب مع خادم بلدي المواقع ، ثم الاتصال بالانترنت في بيتي الى الابد واتخذ بعد ذلك انتقلت الى بلدي فان المتاعب مع والان انا مع وحدة الوطن واي مساعدة اطفال . Elise is back in the States for an extended stay and I have been here with the children acting as Mommy and Daddy for a couple of months now. اليز عاد في الدول لاقامة مطولة وجودي هنا مع الاطفال بوصفها الأم والاب لبضعة شهور حتى الآن. It looks to stay that way for some time so I have had to make some changes. وهو يتطلع الى البقاء على هذا النحو لبعض الوقت حتى كان لي لاجراء بعض التغييرات.

It has actually required a major rework of my life and of course my work schedule in order to deal with the kids and their schedules. انها في الواقع يتطلب اعادة صياغه كبيرة من حياتي وطبعا بلدي الجدول الزمني للعمل من اجل التعامل مع الاطفال وجداولها الزمنية. I’m basically not working which is my excuse for not updating the site in so long. انا اساسا لا تعمل بلدي الذي هو ذريعة لعدم تحديث الموقع في ذلك لفترة طويلة. There have been so many other things that have brought me down including the cost of living here and some of the other hassles in dealing with such a backwards and corrupted system. وكانت هناك العديد من الاشياء الاخرى التي قادت الى اسفل لي بما في ذلك تكلفة المعيشة هنا وأخرى من بعض الازعاج في التعامل مع مثل هذا النظام الفاسد والى الوراء. Things really are messed up here and its not getting any better for حقا هي امور messed هنا وحتى لا يحصلوا على اي من الافضل لل or most Jamaicans. او اكثر الجامايكيين.

As an example it took me over 4 months to get a phone installed in my apartment and then another two weeks to get internet access. وكمثال على انه أخذني اكثر من 4 اشهر للحصول على تركيب الهاتف في بلدي شقة ثم اسبوعين اخرين للحصول على امكانيه الوصول الى الانترنت. I wanted the 3MB internet service but they said only 1MB is available in Negril. فان اردت 3mb خدمة الانترنت لكنهم قالوا 1 ميغابايت فقط متاحة في نيغريل. Of course we happen to be a little to far from the dsl service so I’m only allowed to get the 512kb package which is simply not enough considering it only gets me about 350kbs on the best days. ونحن بطبيعة الحال ان يحدث شيئا يذكر ليكون بعيدا عن خدمة الدي اس ال انا فقط حتى يسمح للحصول على مجموعة 512 كيلو بايت وهي ببساطة انه لا يكفي فقط النظر عن 350kbs لي ان يحصل على أفضل أيام. I cannot upload large video files as I have been planning for quite some time. لا استطيع تحميل ملفات الفيديو كبيرة كما تم التخطيط لفترة من الوقت. My Vonage phone won’t work with someone on the net at the same time and I’m pretty sure Vonage الهاتف بلدي لن تعمل مع شخص على شبكة الانترنت فى نفس الوقت وانا متأكد جميلة Cable and Wireless is throttling p2p traffic. شركة كيبل اند وايرلس الخنق P2P حركة المرور. When I try to dl some files it just shuts down. عندما احاول تنزيل بعض الملفات ومن ثم ينغلق إلى أسفل فقط. I’m not happy with my internet service and I have not been for over 3 years now. انا لست سعيدا بلادي خدمة الانترنت وانا لم تكن لاكثر من 3 سنوات حتى الآن. I’m kinda over it. انا kinda عليها.

I got into a fist fight with a mosquito late one night and in the process of kicking its ass I ripped the cord from my laptop in a pretty funny kung fu kick move that sent the laptop crashing. وصلت الى القبضه مع مكافحة البعوض فى وقت متأخر ليلة واحدة وفي عملية الرفس عن الحمار أنا ممزق فإن حبل من اجهزة الكمبيوتر المحمول في بلدي جميلة مضحك ان كنت فو ركلة تحرك ارسلت أجهزة الكمبيوتر المحمول والتحطيم. The ripped cord has been a real issue. فإن حبل ممزق لقد كانت القضية الحقيقية. I bought a universal laptop cord at Yellows Computer here in Negril but it has burned out on me twice now. واشتريت العالمي لأجهزة الكمبيوتر المحمول والحبل على الحاسوب يصفر هنا في نيغريل لكنه اضاف ان على حرق لي الآن مرتين. They have my laptop and I’m using my home pc which is also the TV and Xbox game center. انها بلادي وأجهزة الكمبيوتر المحمول وانا بيتي باستخدام الكمبيوتر التي هي أيضا لعبة اكس بوكس السينما والتلفزيون ومركز. I have to fight for time online as both kids are now playing games and then the neighborhood kids found out we have Xbox Live so now we get a few kids each day over to play Madden or Halo online. أجد لزاما علي ان الكفاح من اجل كل الوقت على الانترنت كما هي الآن لعب أطفال وألعاب اطفال الحي ، ثم تبين لدينا اكس بوكس يعيش حتى الان حصلنا على عدد قليل من الاطفال كل يوم ما يزيد علي القيام به او هالو مادن على الانترنت.

I let someone drive my van and they crashed it up good. واسمحوا لي احدهم فإن حملة بلدي وانها تحطمت وهي الجيدة. The door and window are busted and its looking like hell. الباب والنافذة هي busted واتطلع مثل الجحيم. Then it developed a mystery short in it that kept killing the battery on me. ثم انها وضعت لغزا القصيره في ان تبقى البطاريه على قتل لي. I got stranded at least four times with the kids and those sucked horribly. تقطعت حصلت اربع مرات على الاقل مع الاطفال وامتصاص تلك فظيعه. Each time I got stuck in the worst place and in the the worst way. في كل مرة حصلت محصورين في أسوأ مكان في واسوأ طريقة. I sat next to the Scotia Bank in Negril for two hours in the pouring rain one afternoon with the kids in the van. جلست الى جانب بنك سكوتيا في نيغريل لمدة ساعتين في غزير الامطار واحدة بعد الظهر مع اطفال في فان. I asked dozens of drivers for jumper cables and no one had any. سألت عشرات من السائقين لالبلوز الكابلات واحدا لم يعلن اي. I finally gave up and started walking home until I grabbed a ride in a cab. واخيرا اود ان تخلي البيت وبدأت المشي حتى أنني أمسك مطية في بسياره الاجره. I went back the next day and picked it up with a new cab driver and some homemade wire cables. عدت في اليوم التالي والحصول عليها مع انها جديدة بسياره الاجره الى السائق وبعض المنزلية وكابلات وأسلاك. I tried to buy jumper cables but there are none in Negril or Sav so I made my own from some wire I found. حاولت لشراء البلوز الكابلات ولكن لا يوجد احد في نيغريل SAV او حتى تقدم لي بلدي من بعض الاسلاك وجدت. I had to buy a new battery for $7000 واضطررت الى شراء بطاريه جديدة ل7000 دولار or about $100US for the cheapo economy battery you get at WalMart in Florida for $30. او 100us دولار تقريبا لcheapo الاقتصاد بطاريه أنت حصلت في walmart في ولاية فلوريدا الى 30 دولارا. The battery says it was made in البطاريه تقول انها تقدم في so I wonder how the heck it costs so much? حتى أنني اتساءل كيف هيك انه الكثير من التكاليف؟

The kids have been a drain on my time but so much fun I don’t care. الاطفال قد يستنزف وقتي ولكن الكثير من المرح لا يهمني. It’s been pretty cool actually. انها كانت جميلة فعلا بارد. I get to spend my day playing games, swimming in pools and reading silly books. احصل على بلادي لقضاء يوم الالعاب ، في برك السباحه وقراءة كتب سخيفه. Having so many other kids around has been a lot to handle but the most fun of all. وبعد ذلك العديد من الأطفال في جميع أنحاء وقد لمعالجة الكثير ولكن أكثر متعة للجميع. Watching my children play with others and grow has been a great experience that makes up for all the headaches of the past two months. مشاهدة بلادي يلعب الاطفال مع الاخرين وتنمو وكانت خبرة كبيرة حتى ان يجعل لجميع من الصداع خلال الشهرين الماضيين.

We had a situation with a woman who moved in here. كانت لدينا حاله مع امرأة في انتقلت من هنا. Shes a bad mother and her child infected mine with some badness. Shes سيئة للام واطفالها المصابين بالالغام مع بعض السوء. He’sa good kid I think but she’s dragging him around the world with no idea what happening. He'sa طفل جيدة ولكن اعتقد انها تجر له في جميع انحاء العالم مع اي فكرة عما يحدث. He speaks Italian, she speaks 3 languages but has not taught him English. وقال انه يتحدث الايطاليه ، تتكلم 3 لغات ، ولكنها لم تدرس له الانكليزيه. Poor kid spent almost 10 days with me, as she kept dumping him here each morning, with no way to communicate or express himself. طفل الفقيره تنفق ما يقرب من 10 يوما معي ، لأنها القاء يحتفظ به هنا كل صباح ، ولا سبيل الى التواصل او التعبير عن نفسه. He began to act out and throw things. وهو كان بدأ العمل بها ورمي الأشياء. He spit on the cleaning staff and urinated in the pool. وقال انه يبصق على تنظيف متبول والموظفين في المجمع. He ran around and ignored her repeated requests while chanting nya, nya, nya and my youngest son Robby has picked it up. وقال انه يتعارض مع وحول تجاهلها في حين ان الطلبات المتكررة الهتاف nya ، nya ، nya وابن بلدي اصغر robby انها قد تحسنت. I want to smack him for being such a smart ass but I’ve been talking to him more. اريد ان الصفعه عليه ليجري هذا الحمار الذكي ولكن انا كنت اتحدث اليه اكثر. Robby has been difficult for me as he requires nearly constant supervision. Robby فقد كان من الصعب بالنسبة لي لانه يتطلب اشراف تقريبا. Thats been hard and he’s been pushing to see my limits at the same time so its doubly hard. Thats كان من الصعب وانه تم دفع حدود بلادي أن نرى في الوقت نفسه من الصعب حتى دورته مضاعف.

There has been a slew of other small crap like crackheads and their whorefriends, mongrel mutts and messy garbage and the infestation of rude goats here on Somerset Road that has been dragging on me. وكان هناك العدد الكبير من فضلات أخرى صغيرة مثل crackheads وwhorefriends ، هجين المغفلون الى فوضى القمامه والتهاب rude الماعز سومرست هنا على الطريق الذي تم جره على لي. I see a lot of crap here in ارى الكثير من فضلات هنا في that no one seems to care about and I’ve been telling people they should do something about it. ويبدو ان احدا لا يكترث لوانا كنت اقول للاشخاص الذين ينبغي ان نفعل شيئا حيال ذلك. I think I offended a Jamaican or two when I told them to stop disrespecting themselves and the environment. اعتقد انه أساء الجامايكي او اثنين عندما قلت لهم لوقف وعدم احترام أنفسهم والبيئة. Some folks get pissy when you tell them to pick up their garbage or wash their ass but I figure if you don’t tell them maybe they will never know. بعض الناس للحصول على pissy عندما كنت اقول لهم لالتقاط القمامه او على غسل الحمار ولكنني الشكل اذا كنت لا نقول لهم انهم ربما لن تعرف ابدا.

Anyway, I just wanted to say I’m still here. على أية حال ، اردت فقط ان اقول ما زلت هنا. Its summer and like Bob said; “The sun is shining and the weather is clear”. الصيفيه ومثل بوب قائلا : "ان الشمس مشرقة والطقس واضحة". I’m picking fresh انا التقاط جديدة from the tree every few days and the birds in the yard have been amazing. من الشجرة كل بضعة ايام والطيور فى ساحة كانت مدهشه. Oh thats right. أوه thats الحق. I had a uniquely Jamaican moment a few days back. كانت لي لحظة فريدة في جامايكا قبل ايام. I was walking back from the mango tree with arm full of الاول كان يسير في العودة من شجرة المانجو مع الذراع الكامل لل . It was about to rain and the sun was shining beyond some dark rain clouds. وكان على وشك ان المطر والشمس مشرقة وراء بعض الظلام غيوم المطر. As I was walking I heard a hummingbird and as I looked up a بينما كنت أسير سمعت صوت الطائر الطنان وكما رفع البصر أ Jamaican Mango Hummingbird الجامايكي المانجو الطائر الطنان was fluttering in my face with the most perfect rainbow blazing across the blue Negril sky as a backdrop. وكان التصفيق في وجهي مع معظم الكمال قوس قزح تتذاكي عبر السماء الزرقاء نيغريل بوصفها الخلفية. It really was a zen moment and I appreciated the fact I had a انها حقا كانت لحظة زن وانا اقدر حقيقة كانت لي to eat and a للاكل وأ to watch sip nectar from the Hibiscus blooms. لمشاهدة الرشفه السلسبيل من الكركديه الزهور. The hummingbirds seem naturally interested in humans and many of them will fly right up to your face if you whistle at them. وقد يبدو من الطبيعي ان تهتم الطيور الطنانه في البشر والكثير منهم سوف ينتقل الحق في وجهك حتى اذا كنت في المباراة. The ال is huge in comparison to the Doctor Bird and it’s actually kinda loud. ضخم بالمقارنة مع الطبيب الطيور وانها فعلا kinda بصوت عال. I’ve trained myself to hear them from pretty far and I follow them around the yard. لقد قمت بتدريب نفسي للاستماع لها من جميلة وأنا الآن في جميع أنحاء متابعتها يارد. I don’t feed them but I have been thinking about it. انا لا اطعامهم ولكن لقد كنت عن التفكير فيها. I do feed the two Jamaican Canaries that come to rest on the ground below my front each morning. هل لي ان اطعام اثنين جامايكا جزر الكناري التي تأتي الى بقية على ارض الواقع اسفل اسمي امام كل صباح. If not the bird feed I bought they have a steady supply of rice and other wild seeds that they really seem to enjoy. اذا لم يكن اطعام الطيور واشتريت لهم امدادات منتظمة من الارز وغيره من الحبوب البرية التي يبدو أنها تتمتع حقا. It’s only two likkle birds but they do sit rather near to my door step just about every morning singing sweet songs. ومن الطيور likkle اثنين فقط ولكنها بدلا من الجلوس بالقرب من الباب الى بلدي خطوة فقط عن كل صباح والغناء والاغاني الحلوة. I whistle back at them and they will turn their heads and look up at me with one eye. الاول في المباراة رجوع منها وانها تعود على رؤوسهم ورفع البصر على لي في عين واحدة. My neighbor Rick started feeding this one lone white pigeon who then told the entire pigeon community to come over. جاري ريك بدات تغذية هذه واحدة من لون الحمام الابيض ثم قال الحمام للمجتمع باسره على مدى القادمة. We had about 20 birds in the yard today and not enough bread to go around. كانت لدينا حوالي 20 طيور في ساحة واليوم لا يكفي للذهاب نحو الخبز.

I have a zillion photos on the laptop that I am hoping to post once I get the new cord. عندي صور العدد الغير معروف والكبير جدا على أجهزة الكمبيوتر المحمول والتي آمل ان احصل على وظيفة بمجرد الحبل الجديد. I have not had the camera out for much other than shots of أنا لم اصل لتصوير الكثير من أعيرة ناريه اخرى من Alfred Jesse الفريد جيسي and و Robert Nesta روبرت nesta for their sites which desperately need updating as well. للمواقع التى بحاجة ماسة الى التحديث ايضا. I finally have internet at home and no time now to work with it. اود اخيرا شبكة الانترنت في المنزل وليس الوقت الآن للعمل معها. Sounds like يبدو مثل mon! الاثنين! Everyting irie… Everyting irie…
