We had the chance to take a trip to Mayfield Falls with a group of local children and some guest from Heartbeat Resort courtesy of one of the guests named John. لقد أتيحت لنا فرصة اتخاذ رحلة الى mayfield يندرج مع مجموعة من الاطفال المحليين وبعض الضيوف من نبض القلب اللجوء مجامله من احد ضيوف اسمه جون. It was his last full day in Jamaica after 4 beautiful weeks and he wanted to give something back to some of the neighborhood children that had brought him so much joy in his last days here. وقال انه آخر يوم كامل في جامايكا بعد 4 الجميلة اسابيع ، وكان يريد ان يعطي شيئا الى الوراء لبعض الحي ان الاطفال قد جلبت له الكثير من الفرح في ايامه الاخيرة هنا.
With a little planning we decided that it would be 5 adults and 5 children piling into our van for the 1 1/2 hour drive to Mayfield Falls via Sav La Mar. We booked a tour guide and lunch package with the Original Mayfield Falls and headed off for the park early that morning. مع قليل من التخطيط وقررنا انه سيكون من 5 بالغين و 5 اطفال تكويم الى اعمالنا فان ل1 1 / 2 ساعة الحملة الراميه الى mayfield يقع عبر SAV مدينة لوس انجلوس اذار / مارس اننا حجز آ الدليل السياحي وغداء مع مجموعة الاصلي mayfield يقع ويراس من اجل بارك في وقت مبكر من صباح ذلك اليوم. We were given directions to Mayfield Falls by the office staff when we purchased our tour package but we missed a turn and ended up taking an alternative route which ended up being a pretty bad road. ولقد اعطيت لنا لاتجاهات mayfield يقع بها مكتب الموظفين اننا عندما اشترى لنا جولة حزمة ولكننا فوت آ بدورها وانتهى الأمر أخذ خط سير بديل الذي انتهى كونها جميلة الحاله السيءه للطرق. There are some potholes on most of the roads in Jamaica but on this trip much of the road was gone and I certainly advise you to take this trip with an experienced guide of some sort because getting stuck or lost out there would be no fun. وهناك بعض الحفر على معظم الطرق في جامايكا ولكن هذه الرحله الكثير من هذا الطريق هو رحل وانا انصح لكم بالتأكيد الى اتخاذ هذه الرحله مع متمرس نوعا من الدليل لأن الحصول تجمد رصيد او خسر لن يكون هناك أي متعة. Eventually our bad road meets up with the road we missed or the good road but then both f them get horrible, the entry road to Mayfield Falls is in horrible condition and extreme caution is advised. ونحن في نهاية المطاف تصل الحاله السيءه للطرق يجتمع مع الطريق ونحن ضاعت او جيدة ولكن الطريق ثم كلا منهم و احصل الرهيبه ، دخول الطريق الى mayfield يقع هو في حالة مروعه وينصح الحذر الشديد. I could not understand how they could let the road deteriorate to such poor conditions for one of the nicer natural attractions in the Negril area but things became a bit more clear once we arrived on scene. انني لا يستطيع ان يفهم كيف يمكنهم اسمحوا الطريق الى تدهور هذه الاحوال السيءه للألطف واحدة من مناطق الجذب الطبيعيه في منطقة نيغريل لكن الامور اصبحت واضحة اكثر قليلا مرة واحدة وصلنا على الساحة.
There are now two attractions on the Mayfield River. وهناك الآن اثنان التجاذب على نهر mayfield. The Original Mayfield Falls is where we chose to go based on local advice that the falls and river are much nicer here. الاصلي mayfield هو اين يقع اخترنا ان يذهب على اساس المشوره المحلية ان يقع نهر وألطف بكثير هنا. The newer attraction is named Riverwalk at Mayfield Falls and they have strategically placed themselves on the roadway before Mayfield and overwhelmed the place with signage to make it seem they are they one and only attraction and the one everyone has come to see. الاحدث الجذب سميت riverwalk في mayfield وانها تقع في موقع استراتيجي انفسهم على الطريق قبل mayfield وطغى على المكان مع علامات لجعله يبدو أنهم هم واحد فقط والجذب واحد لكل شخص قد حان لنرى. You can see this is having an effect on the Original Mayfield Falls and is certainly costing them a lot in lost business and revenue. يمكنك ان ترى هذه هي التي يكون لها تأثير على الاصلي ويقع mayfield هو بالتأكيد بتكلفة منهم الكثير في الاعمال التجارية والايرادات المفقودة. I have not decided whether we’ll stop by the other one next time or not. صحيح انني لم تقرر ما اذا كانت سوف نقوم بايقاف من قبل الطرف الآخر واحد في المرة القادمة ام لا. I think it’s kinda wrong whats being done and its apparent to me anyway that they are stealing their business by being somewhat deceptive in using the name Mayfield Falls instead of Mayfield Riverwalk or something and the signs are misleading.I think the staff and management needs to clear things up by creating some nice new signage of their own letting everyone know there are two places to see. اعتقد انه kinda خاطءه whats يجري القيام به وعلى ما يبدو لي على أية حال انها سرقة أعمالهم التجارية من قبل الى حد ما يجري في المخادع باستخدام اسم mayfield يقع بدلا من mayfield riverwalk او ما يشبه ذلك ، وتوجد علامات misleading.i اعتقد الموظفين والادارة تحتاج الى امور واضحة حتى من خلال إنشاء بعض نيس علامات جديدة خاصة بهم ترك الجميع يعرف ان هناك مكانين لأنظر. I understand that Riverwalk is a newer and nicer facility but somewhat overpriced when compared to the Original. وانا افهم ان riverwalk هو الاحدث وألطف مرفق ولكن الى حد ما اذا ما قورنت الى مزيد سعر الاصلي. I cannot of course confirm this yet so I guess I should then huh? لا استطيع تأكيد هذا الامر بطبيعة الحال بعد ذلك اظن انني وينبغي عندئذ هوة؟ Settled then, I’ll go to Riverwalk next and compare them for you. ثم استقر ، انني سوف اذهب الى riverwalk القادم ومقارنتها بالنسبة لكم. Hows that? إن هاوس؟
Anyway the Original Mayfield Falls has some very beautiful scenery and we ended up having an incredible day hiking up the river to the main falls. على اي حال الاصلي mayfield وقد يقع بعض منظر جميل جدا ونحن انتهى لها لا تصدق اليوم مشكلة ارتفاع يصل الى النهر الرئيسي يقع. I have to say here that without the wonderful services of Gary the Wonder Guide who with three kids hanging from his arms and neck was still able to skip up the river like a stone over the water it would not have been so nice a trip. ولا بد لي من القول هنا انه بدون خدمات راءعه من غاري عجب فان الدليل الذي لديها ثلاثة اطفال شنقا من رقبته وذراعيه وكان لا يزال قادرا على القفز على ما يصل النهر مثل حجر فوق المياه انها ما كانت لطيفة حتى رحلة. If you go you simply must have a guide to help you navigate your way to the top or you’ll simply never make. اذا كنت اذهب انت ببساطة يجب ان يكون دليلا لمساعدة لكم ان تبحر في طريقك الى اعلى او يمكنك ببساطة تجعل أبدا. The trip up is about an hour hike over some pretty tough terrain but well worth the effort. الرحله يصل حوالى ساعة بزياده اكثر من بعض جميله ولكن صعبة التضاريس جيدا تستحق الجهد المبذول. It’s an awesome nature walk through towering forests up the river with tons of great spots to swim in the cool mineral waters. وهو احد رهيبه الطبيعة من خلال المشي شاهق الغابات حتى النهر الكبير مع طن من البقع الى السباحه في مياه المعدنية كوول. You can drink the water direct from the river and it’s like drinking bottled water before they bottle it. يمكنك ان تشرب الماء مباشرة من النهر وانه مثل شرب المياه المعباه في زجاجات قبل زجاجة. It’s very refreshing and cold. انها جدا انعاش والباردة. The kids were good in the water but a few of us adults took a minute getting used to it. فان الاطفال كانت جيدة في المياه ولكن عددا قليلا منا الكبار مقعدا في الدقيقة المستخدمة في الحصول عليه. It’s definitely invigorating and according to many locals the mineral waters have healing powers and can aid in all sorts of ailments. ومن المؤكد ان تنشيط وفقا للكثير من السكان المحليين ، فان المياه المعدنية لها الشفاء صلاحيات ويمكن ان تساعد في كل انواع الامراض.
The goal of our hike was to reach the largest waterfalls at the top of the trail where we were able to slide behind the waterfall for a cool pic with Mathis, one of the local youths we took for the trip. والهدف هو زيادة جهودنا من اجل الوصول الى عدد اكبر الشلالات فى اعلى الاثر حيث تمكنا من الانزلاق وراء الشلال لكوول mathis مع الموافقة المسبقه عن علم ، واحد من الشباب المحليين اتخذنا لهذه الرحله. It was a great accomplishment for us as a family to make it up there together and we all had a great time hiking the river. لقد كان انجازا عظيما بالنسبة لنا كدوله الاسرة جعله يصل الى هناك ونحن جميعا معا كان عظيما الوقت رفع نهر. Both my kids and the local kids had fun and a new experience and there have been almost daily requests to return ever since we got back. كل اطفال بلادي والمحلية اطفال قد والمرح تجربة جديدة وكانت هناك طلبات يومية تقريبا الى العودة من اي وقت مضى منذ وصلنا الى الوراء. We’ll certainly be taking more trips to Mayfield and for sure we’ll got to Riverwalk at Mayfield next so we can compare. سنقوم بالتأكيد ان اتخاذ المزيد من الرحلات من والى mayfield وبالتأكيد سنقوم حصلت على riverwalk في mayfield المقبل حتى نتمكن من مقارنة.
Our tour package included lunch at the on site restaurant and we were served a delicious meal of Jerk Chicken, Rice and Peas and Veggies along with a cool glass of fresh squeezed mango juice which was perfect. ونحن في جولة شملت حزمة الغداء في مطعم على الموقع وكنا خدمت لذيذ وجبة من الهزه الدجاج والأرز والبازلاء وveggies جنبا الى جنب مع كوول كوب من عصير المانجو الطازجه التي تجبر على ما يرام. You certainly have the option of bringing your own lunch if you prefer but it’s not worth it. انتم بالتأكيد لدينا خيار جلب طعام الغداء بنفسك إذا كنت تفضل إلا أنه لا يستحق ذلك. For the price paid the local food was awesome and not having to worry about was even better. لالسعر الذي يدفعه المحلي للأغذية وكانت رهيبه لا داعي للقلق بعد ان كانت حتى أفضل. We enjoyed our time at the river and left the work up to the very capable and friendly staff for the day. ونحن تتمتع قتنا في نهر وتركت العمل يصل الى قادرة جدا على الموظفين والصديقه لهذا اليوم.
