Sua experiência é muito similar no fato a minhas mas eu explicarei como as coisas podem ir diferentemente. Eu fui aproximado demasiado por um homem em uma motocicleta enquanto eu puxei na estação de gás local para reabastecer. Eu realmente apenas tinha dirigido após a estação e estava em minha maneira ao parque dos rios rujir quando eu realizei que eu estava a ponto de funcionar fora do combustível e era o mais melhor o girar em torno rather então do risco. Eu fui interior enquanto o assistente bombeou algum gás e eu comprei uma bebida fria. Ao fazer exame de um sip fora do guy no motorbike perguntou-me, wa' gwan?
Eu disse-lhe que eu estava em minha maneira ao rio com meus miúdos, geralmente um likkle mais informação do que a maioria necessitarão ou eu dou sempre para fora mas eu estava sentindo talkative esse dia. Disse que viveu perto do rio e foi uma das mais melhores guias na área. Reivindicou ter sido carregado lá e um residente lifelong. Eu sou ainda incerto sobre essa parte mas sabe a área e era uma guia decent bastante. Uma pessoa ou uma família necessitam mesmo uma guia em rios rujir? Não realmente mas é tipo de agradável a primeira vez a aprender sobre o lugar e é história as well as o flora e os detalhes naturais sobre o rio e seus funcionamentos. Colocam a reivindicação a ser um do primeiro e a maioria de atrações naturais em Jamaica com o pouco a nenhum desenvolvimento do parque. The Roaring River is actually the meeting of an underground spring which is a no swim area and used solely for drinking purposes or the river which is fed from the surrounding mountains and tropical rain fall. The summer months are the rainy season and the river peaks in October when the banks nearly overflow with the freshest, coolest and cleanest drinking water on earth. It’s a very nice place and the surrounding mountains and lush tropical setting is enough for a visit. The river and underground mineral springs cave bath are a plus.
Roaring rivers cave is a nice place for a cool swim in the healing mineral waters of Jamaica in the Westmoreland Parish. The cave is simple underground cavern with built in steps and some added lighting so you can truly enjoy the beautiful walk down into earth. The cave walls and ceilings are covered in shiny crystallized minerals which are awash in the waters at the base of the cave. The mineral springs inside the cave are said to offer the most healing of all mineral springs in Jamaica.
The Roaring Rivers park wiki says the park is on the site of the Roaring River Estate which belonged to the Beckford family: Peter Beckford, William Beckford. The river and cave are now manage by the Roaring River Citizens Association, a local community group that charges a small fee for park entry and use of the cave and mineral springs.
If you love swimming in the natural mineral springs as much as I do then you may spend quite a bit of time at Roaring Rivers. Thus far it’s the best choice near Negril for a relaxing dip in the cool refreshing waters and a great half day trip for just about anyone.
