I’m always looking for the cheapest way to travel in Jamaica for many reasons. انا دائما يبحثون عن ارخص طريقة للسفر في جامايكا لاسباب عديدة. Not only do I enjoy providing this information to our readers but the most obvious of course is to save money for myself and our family as we travel around Jamaica. ليس فقط استمتع توفير هذه المعلومات لدينا قراء ولكن الاكثر وضوحا هو بالطبع لتوفير المال لنفسي واسرتنا نحن السفر في جميع انحاء جامايكا. Not to say we can’t rough it in a tent or even the van for a couple days but its certainly not as enjoyable for the family as a whole. ليس لاننا لا نستطيع ان نقول انها الخام في خيمة او حتى لفان خلال يومين ولكن بالتأكيد ليس كما متعة للاسرة ككل. Dad always enjoys it! أبي دائما يتمتع!

Our trip to Treasure Beach was organized in a hurry and I did not put in much time for planning accommodations or a variety of activities. رحلتنا الى الكنز شاطىء نظمت في عجلة من امرنا ولم أكن في وضع الكثير من الوقت للتخطيط الاقامة او مجموعة متنوعة من الانشطه. I was not even sure how long we would stay but we needed an affordable room for at least the first night we arrived in TB just because It had been some time since my last visit to the area and I wanted the family to enjoy things. حتى انني لم أكن متأكدا الى متى سوف تبقى ، لكن نحن كنا في حاجة معقولة للغرفة الاولى ، على الأقل ، في ليلة وصولنا للادويه فقط لانه كان في وقت ما منذ زيارتي الاخيرة الى المنطقة والتي أردت الاسرة التمتع الاشياء. Not knowing where to sleep would make it difficult for us to enjoy ourselves. ولا تدري الى اين النوم من شأنه ان يجعل من الصعب علينا التمتع انفسنا. Someone in Treasure Beach must allow tent camping but I did not find a specific place. شخص ما في كنز بيتش يجب ان تسمح خيمة التخييم ولكن لم اجد مكان معين.

My favorite Jamaica travel guide المفضلة جامايكا السفر الدليل suggests a visit to Sandy Hill Cottages for an inexpensive option for rooms in Treasure Beach so we decided to give it a try. وتقترح القيام بزياره الى تلة رمليه اكواخ لرخيصة الخيار للغرف في كنز الشاطئ حتى قررنا محاولة اعطائها. We got to TB in the late afternoon and made straight for Sandy Hill which is located in Frenchmans Cove or at about the middle of what is known as Treasure Beach. وصلنا الى السل في وقت متاخر من بعد الظهر وتقدم مباشرة للالتل الرملي الذي يقع في frenchmans الخليج الصغير او عند حوالي منتصف ما يعرف كنز الشاطئ. It’s not on the beach but rather up the hills and above the beach on cliffs a few hundred feet above sea level. انها ليست على الشاطئ بل حتى التلال وفوق الشاطئ على المنحدرات بضع مئات من الأقدام فوق مستوى سطح البحر. From the rear deck at Sandy Hill you can hear the sea crashing on the rocks below and watch the sun set over lush landscape and the base of the Santa Cruz Mountains before you. من العمق تلة رمليه على سطح السفينة يمكنك سماع البحار التحطيم على الصخور ادناه ومشاهدة مجموعة الشمس فوق معشب المناظر الطبيعيه وقاعدة للجبال سانتا كروز امامكم.

Sandy Hill is owned and operated by a simple man named Prof who also runs Kirabu Cottage just next door. ساندي هيل هو الذي تملكه وتديره بسيط رجل اسمه الاستاذ الذي يدير ايضا kirabu المنزلية عادل المجاور له. When we arrived at Sandy Hill with no reservations we were met by Prof who offered us a room next door at Kirabu for a discounted rate because he was full up at Sandy Hill and had no rooms available for the evening. وعندما وصلنا في تلة رمليه مع وجود اى تحفظات اننا وكان في استقبالهم الاستاذ الذي تقدمه لنا غرفة المجاور له في kirabu بأسعار مخفضه لمعدل كاملة لانه كان يصل في تلة رمليه وليس لديهم الغرف المتاحة للمساء. A one night stay at Sandy Hill in the main house will set you back about $30US for the night with a shared kitchen and common area. ألف ليلة واحدة في البقاء في تلة رمليه الرئيسية البيت ستضع بعودتكم 30us دولار تقريبا ليلة مشتركة مع مطبخ ومنطقة مشتركة. I got a look into the rooms some people were living in and they seemed great but I took no pictures with all of their things in it. صعودي نظرة الى غرف بعض الناس كانوا يعيشون في وهم كبير ولكن يبدو انني لم تتخذ اي صورة مع كافة عملياتها في الاشياء. I asked about tent camping and Prof told me sure but the only space he had available was a rocky patch of dirt by the parking lot that was certainly not ready for tent sleeping. سألت خيمة التخييم والاستاذ قال لي متأكد ولكن فقط الفضاء المتاحة لديه هو صخري البقعه من الاوساخ بها ساحة لانتظار السيارات التي كانت بالتأكيد ليست على استعداد للخيمة النوم.

Sandy Hill and Kirabu are just a short walk down the hill to Golden Sands Resort and free access to Frenchmans Cove and Beach. ساندي هيل وkirabu ليست سوى مسافه قصيرة سيرا على الأقدام الى أسفل التل الى الرمال الذهبية اللجوء وحرية الوصول الى frenchmans الخليج الصغير والشاطئ. For inexpensive accommodations in Treasure Beach you can’t find much for a better deal than Sandy Hill. لاماكن رخيصة في شاطئ كنز لا يمكنك العثور على الكثير من اجل صفقة أفضل من تلة رمليه.

We needed to take a trip over to Kingston this past week and we decided to make an extended road trip out of the 250km drive. ونحن بحاجة الى اتخاذ اكثر من رحلة الى كينغستون هذا الأسبوع الماضي وقررنا جعل رحلة ممتده الطريق للخروج من حملة 250km. It’s been a long time since I have been to some parts of the South Coast of Jamaica and the family has never been to places like Treasure Beach so we decided this would be our first stop on the way to Kingston and the shipping ports where we needed to pick up a barrel we shipped from the States. انه تم منذ وقت طويل لقد كنت على بعض اجزاء من الساحل الجنوبي من جامايكا والاسرة لم تكن ابدا الى اماكن مثل كنز الشاطئ حتى قررنا هذا سيكون لدينا اول محطة في الطريق الى كينغستون والنقل البحري والموانئ حيث نحن بحاجة لالتقاط برميل نحن شحنها من الدول.

We got a late start in the day and arrived in the late afternoon because I chose to stop about a zillion times for pictures and stuff. حصلنا على تأخرها في يوم وصلوا في وقت متاخر من بعد الظهر لانني اختار التوقف عن العدد الغير معروف والكبير جدا مرات من اجل الصور والاشياء. The new camera is great but it can be a distraction. الجديد كاميرا كبيرة ولكن يمكن ان تكون الهاء. I took a total of 2500 photographs over our 3 day adventure. لقد اخذت مجموعة من الصور الفوتوغرافيه 2500 اكثر من 3 ايام لدينا المغامره. It’s super cool to have so many shots to chose from for the site now but I probably wasted an hour taking photos and messed up my schedule. انه رائع ان يكون هذا العدد الكبير من الطلقات لاختار من اجل الموقع الآن ولكني ربما تضيع ساعة من التقاط الصور وحتى messed بلدي الجدول. Having never spent much time in Treasure Beach I was unsure where would be the best place to stay when we arrived but some quick research at وقد انفقت الكثير من الوقت ابدا في كنز شاطئ كنت غير متأكد اين سيكون افضل مكان لاقامة ولكن عندما وصلنا الى مركز الابحاث في بعض سريعه TreasureBeach.net Treasurebeach.net listed all the available accommodations in Treasure Beach and much more. بحصر كافة اماكن المتاحة في كنز الشاطئ وأكثر من ذلك بكثير. I went on the further advice of ذهبت على مزيد من النصح لل my favorite Jamaican Travel Guide المفضلة الجامايكي السفر الدليل and chose Sandy Hill Cottages for our first nights visit. واختار ساندي تلة اكواخ لدينا اول زيارة ليلة وليلة. It’sa really nice place to stay, look for my further review later this week. It'sa جميلة الى مكان الاقامة ، والبحث عن مزيد من بلادي استعراض في وقت لاحق من هذا الاسبوع.

Arriving late as we did I was more focused on finding the place to stay for the night and after unloading some of our things in the room we took off for a short ride around Treasure Beach just so we could all see the place. وصوله في وقت متأخر كما فعلنا كنت أكثر تركيزا على ايجاد المكان المناسب لاقامة ليلة وبعد تفريغ بعض شركائنا الاشياء في الغرفة ونحن اقلعت لفترة قصيرة خلال جولة حول كنز الشاطئ فقط كي نستطيع ان نرى كل مكان. Treasure Beach is a place for laid back relaxation and there is not much to do in the evening except have some food and drinks at your resort or one of the many small establishments in town. كنز الشاطئ هو مكان لوضع الوراء الاسترخاء وليس هناك الكثير الذي يتعين القيام به في المساء باستثناء بعض المأكولات والمشروبات عند زيارتك لجوء او واحدة من العديد من المؤسسات الصغيرة في البلده. There are but a few larger places in town such as Jakes with more than a handful of customers on any given evening and for the most action you’ll probably spend much of your time at Jakes or Jack Sprats Beach. ولكن هناك عدد قليل من اكبر الاماكن في مدينة مثل المرحاض مع اكثر من حفنة من العملاء على اي مساء ونظرا لمعظم العمل عليك وربما تنفق الكثير من وقتكم في المرحاض او جاك اسماك الاسبرط الشاطئ.

Both of these places are very nice places closer to Calabash Bay and by far the more popular spots in the Treasure Beach. كل من هذه الاماكن لطيف جدا اماكن أقرب الى كالاباش خليج والى حد بعيد الاكثر شعبية في بئر الكنز الشاطئ. Jakes Place is more the night time spot open until late every evening and Jack Sprats is more popular during the day for its wonderful beaches and free showers for restaurant clients. المرحاض هو المكان اكثر الليل الوقت بقعة مفتوحة حتى ساعة متاخره من كل مساء واسماك الاسبرط جاك هو الاكثر شعبية خلال اليوم لامر رائع الشواطئ وحمامات مجانيه لزبائن المطعم. If you had a place to camp in the area you could bath and eat at Jack Sprats and stay in TB for as little as the cost of lunch each day. لو كان لديك مكان الى معسكر في منطقة امكنكم الحمام وتناول الطعام فى جاك اسماك الاسبرط والبقاء في للسل قليلا بحسب تكلفة الغداء كل يوم. I had a hard time finding anyone interested in renting out some camping spaces and we ended up with a room for our stay in Treasure Beach. كان عندي الوقت الصعب العثور على أي شخص مهتم تأجير بعض المساحات التخييم ونحن انتهى اليه غرفة لإقامتنا في كنز الشاطئ.

Treasure Beach is very much a lazy fishing village with little more to do than hang on the beach or participate in the variety of watersports available. كنز الشاطئ هو الى حد كبير مع كسلان الصيد القرية الى أكثر قليلا مما يفعل هانغ على الشاطىء او المشاركة في مجموعة من watersports المتاحة. Treasure Beach is well known to offer some of the best fishing in Jamaica and many of the area residents earn a living from the nearby seas. كنز الشاطئ هو معروف جيدا لتقديم بعض من أفضل الصيد في جامايكا وكثير من سكان منطقة كسب العيش القريبه من البحار. The fishing in TB is varied and you can hire a professional charter boat from places like Jakes or you can do as most do and negotiate a day trip with a local fisherman and spend the day like so many Jamaicans do by working your butt off in the hot sun hoping to catch enough to eat for dinner for you and your family. صيد الاسماك في السل هو متنوع ويمكنك استئجار قارب المهنيه الميثاق من اماكن مثل المرحاض او يمكنك ان تفعل كما يفعل معظم والتفاوض رحلة ليوم واحد مع الصيادين المحليين وتمضية يوم كالعديد الجامايكيين تفعل من خلال العمل الخاص بك من بط في الشمس الساخنه على أمل التقاط ما يكفي من الطعام لتناول العشاء للكم ولاسرتكم.

Many visitors to Jamaica come here to relax in the natural beauty of the island and chill on the beach with a Red Stripe or spliff in hand. العديد من الزوار الى جامايكا يأتون الى هنا للاسترخاء في الجمال الطبيعي للجزيرة والبرد على الشاطىء مع شريط احمر او spliff في اليد. If that’s what you want from a vacation in Jamaica than Treasure Beach is the place for you. اذا كان هذا ما تريده من لقضاء اجازة في جامايكا من كنز الشاطئ هو مكان لك. Some say Treasure Beach is what Negril was about 30 years ago and it’s pretty easy to see that the lack of development and tourists has been a blessing in many ways to the people of Treasure Beach and the South Coast of Jamaica. ويقول البعض ان الكنز ما هو الشاطئ نيغريل كان حوالى 30 سنة مضت وانها جميلة من السهل ان نرى ان الافتقار الى التنمية والسياح وقد نعمة في طرق عديدة لشعب كنز الشاطئ والساحل الجنوبي من جامايكا.

Treasure Beach is actually a collection of bays along the South Coast of Jamaica with the more popular being Calabash Bay. شاطىء كنز هو في الواقع مجموعة من الخلجان على طول الساحل الجنوبي من جامايكا مع الاكثر شعبية يجري كالاباش خليج. The best place for beach access seems to be the road alongside the Golden Sand Resort which provides access to the public beaches of Frenchmans Cove and makes for a great start for a leisurely stroll down the beach. افضل مكان للحصول الشاطئ ويبدو ان الطريق الى جانب اللجوء الرمال الذهبية التي تتيح الوصول الى الشواطئ العامة من frenchmans الخليج الصغير ، ويجعل لعظيم لبدء leisurely التجوال اسفل الشاطئ. If you’re not into the beach and fishing than there may well be no reason at all for you to visit Treasure Beach. اذا كنت لا الى الشاطئ وصيد الاسماك مما قد تكون هناك اي سبب على الاطلاق لانك كنز لزيارة الشاطئ. If you appreciate having a gorgeous beach all to yourself than Treasure Beach Jamaica may well be the paradise for you that it is for so many others. اذا كنت نقدر له كل شاطئ رائع لنفسك من كنز شاطىء جامايكا قد يكون الجنة للكم انه لآخرين كثيرين. Here are some of the flowers in bloom in the yard this week. وهنا بعض من الزهور في ازهر في ساحة هذا الاسبوع. Of course there are always some flowers in bloom here in Jamaica and even today in the mnth of January we have some lovely blooms. طبعا هناك دائما بعض الزهور هنا في ازهر في جامايكا وحتى اليوم في mnth من كانون الثاني / يناير لدينا بعض الزهور رائع.

The 16th Annual Bob Marley Birthday Bash is being held on February 5th-6th at MXIII in Negril. السنوي السادس عشر لميلاد بوب مارلي باش تنعقد على الخامس - السادس من شباط / فبراير في mxiii في نيغريل. Anyone going? اي شخص ذاهب؟ I know I’ll be there for sure. اعلم انني سوف يكون هناك بالتأكيد. We left Florida and arrived here in Negril on January 11th. لقد تركنا ولاية فلوريدا ووصل الى هنا في كانون الثاني / يناير عن نيغريل الحاديه عشرة. It took a couple days for me to get online and some new pics posted but I will hopefully be back to blogging about Jamaica and our newest adventures again. استغرق يومين بالنسبة لي ان احصل على شبكة الانترنت وبعض PICS جديدة تنشر لكنني آمل ان اعود الى التدوين عن جامايكا واحدث المغامرات مرة اخرى.

It’s so nice to be back in Jamaica and I am very excited about how glad our kids were upon our return home. حتى انه من الجميل أن تكون العودة في جامايكا وانني مسرور جدا بالاثاره حول كيفية مسرور لدينا اطفال كانوا عند عودتنا الى الوطن. Both of my sons are completely happy here in Negril and I was very worried that a month back in the States would mess with them but it worked out for the best. سواء من ابنائي هم سعداء تماما هنا في نيغريل وكنت شديد القلق من ان شهر الى الوراء في الدول الفوضى معهم ولكن لأنها عملت بها افضل. In the end they like Negril and our new place here at Devine Destiny more than all the vacation time and grandma gifts of the past few weeks. في نهاية نيغريل يروق لهم وجهة نظرنا الجديدة مكان هنا في Devine مصير اكثر من كل وقت العطله والجدة الهدايا من الاسابيع القليلة الماضية. I was most impressed with my oldest son AJ who has been very vocal about “going home” and was the most excited about our plan travels and arrival in Montego Bay. انا معجب أشد أقدم ابن بلدي AJ الذين تم جدا صخبا حول "يعودون الى اوطانهم" وكان الاكثر بالاثاره عن خطتنا وصول يسافر في مونتيغو باي.

This trip was not quite as smooth as I had hoped for and we still need to sort out some post arrival planning so we can avoid things like an empty fridge on a Friday evening and some other things. هذه الرحله لم تكن تماما كما السلس كما كنت امل لواننا ما زلنا بحاجة الى فرز بعض الوظائف وصول التخطيط حتى يمكننا تجنب اشياء مثل ثلاجه خاوية على مساء الجمعة وبعض الاشياء الاخرى. I drove home and it was probably a mistake for me to drive so soon after a long flight. انني حدت الداخل وربما كان من الخطأ بالنسبة لي لطرد بعد فترة قصيرة جدا من رحلة طويلة. I got turned around in Mobay and kept chit chatting with our friend Kevin while driving lost in a rain storm and we lost about two hours because of it. صعودي ندور في mobay وابقى تشيت الدردشه مع صديقنا كيفن فقدت اثناء القيادة في الامطار العاصفة والتي خسرناها حوالي ساعتين بسبب عليه. Once we got to Negril and opened up the house everything was irie and everyone felt better. عندما وصلنا الى نيغريل وفتحت البيت ، كل شيء irie والجميع يشعر افضل. Better planning will avoid this on future trips. تخطيط افضل وسوف تتجنب هذا على مستقبل الرحلات.

We brought back lots of stuff and we’re prepared for lots of activities this go around. اعدنا الكثير من الاشياء ونحن جاهزون لوجد الكثير من الانشطه حول هذا الذهاب. We have the van and now two bicycles plus a trailer we can haul the kids in which should allow us to travel just about anywhere in Jamaica by van or bike. لدينا الان فان والدراجات زائد اثنين مقطوره يمكننا الاطفال في المسافات التي ينبغي ان تسمح لنا بالسفر فقط عن اي مكان في جامايكا قبل فإن او الدراجه. Now we just need to get motivated on some more trips this time. الآن نحن بحاجة فقط الى الحصول على بعض الدوافع رحلات أكثر هذه المرة.

There is something about Jamaica that makes it very easy to spend lots of time doing much of nothing and taking long naps in the middle of the day has become the norm for us here in Negril. هناك شيء عن جامايكا ان يجعل من السهل جدا ان تنفق الكثير من الوقت القيام بكثير من اي شىء واتخاذ برامج عمل وطنية طويلة في منتصف النهار اصبح المعيار بالنسبة لنا هنا في نيغريل. What should take me minutes to do may take me days to actually get around too here and I’m usually a bit slower on Jamaican time. ما ينبغي ان يأخذ لي القيام دقائق قد يستغرق يوما لي فعلا الى الالتفاف حول جدا هنا وانا عادة أبطأ قليلا على الجامايكيه الوقت.

I do find myself spending more time observing nature and the beauty around us more so while I’m here. وانا أجد نفسي انفاق المزيد من الوقت لمراقبة الطبيعة والجمال من حولنا اكثر من ذلك بينما انا هنا. In just the past few days we’ve been here I have already seen and photographed so much Jamaican wildlife and tropical flora. فقط في الأيام القليلة الماضية قمنا تم هنا وقد سبق لي ان شهدت وصورت الكثير الجامايكي الحياة البرية والنباتات الاستواءيه. I need a good book on identifying the numerous varieties of birds, butterflies and flowers around us. احتاج جيدا الكتاب على تحديد أصناف عديدة من الطيور والفراشات والازهار من حولنا. If not I’ll just have to name them all on my own and that will take too long. ان لم يكن انا فقط لاسم كل منهم وبالاصاله عن نفسي ان ذلك سيستغرق زمنا طويلا.
