Royal Palm Reserve is one of those special places where one can appreciate the beauty and tranquility of nature and the wonders of Jamaica. النخيل الملكي الاحتياطي هو واحد من تلك الأماكن الخاصة حيث يمكن للمرء ان نقدر الجمال والهدوء للطبيعه وعجائب جامايكا. The Reserve bills itself as one of Jamaica’s best eco attractions with over 300 acres of lush tropical jungle and Jamaican wildlife including over 300 species of animals such as birds, butterflies and reptiles and 114 documented species of plants and flowers. الاحتياطي فواتير نفسه كاحد افضل جامايكا الايكولوجيه الجذب مع اكثر من 300 فدان من الغابة الاستواءيه معشب والجامايكيه الحياة البرية بما فيها ما يزيد عن 300 نوعا من الحيوانات مثل الطيور والفراشات والزواحف وموثقه 114 نوع من النباتات والزهور. The Reserve was established in the mid 1980’s as part of a plan to protect the Great Morass Royal Palms which had undergone extensive harvesting and were nearly devastated by clearcutting. وقد انشئ الاحتياطي في منتصف 1980 'sكجزء من خطة لحمايه الملكيه الاكف المستنقع الكبير الذي كان على نطاق واسع وكان حصاد ما يقرب من دمرتها clearcutting.
The land was originally managed by the Petrolem Corporation of Jamaica but after a long series of hassles they released it to the الارض كانت في الأصل الذي تديره شركة petrolem من جامايكا ولكن بعد سلسلة طويلة من ازعاج انها افرجت الى Negril Environmental Protection Trust (NEPT) نيغريل حمايه البيئة الثقة (nept) in 2001. فى عام 2001. The NEPT manages the Reserve with a goal to protecting the area and natural resources of the area under the following objectives from their website: فان nept تدير احتياطي مع هدف الى حمايه المنطقة والموارد الطبيعيه في المنطقة في اطار الاهداف التالية من موقعهم :
1. To protect and conserve the Negril Great Morass and its wetland flora and fauna, particularly the endemic Morass (Swamp) Royal Palm. لحمايه وحفظ نيغريل مستنقع كبير من الاراضي الرطبه والنباتات والحيوانات ، وخاصة المستوطنة مستنقع (مستنقع) النخيل الملكي.
2. To raise the level of awareness, knowledge and understanding about the Negril Great Morass (and other wetland ecosystems) though an Interpretive Programme لرفع مستوى الوعي والمعرفه والفهم عن نيغريل مستنقع كبير (وغيرها من الانظمه الايكولوجيه للاراضي الرطبه) رغم ان تفسيري برنامج
3. To provide opportunities to citizens of neighboring communities, particularly Sheffield, for income generation through direct employment, concessions, training and the facilitation of sustainable livelihood projects in the community. توفير الفرص لمواطني المجتمعات المجاورة ، وخاصة شيفيلد ، لتوليد الدخل من خلال العمالة المباشره ، والتنازلات ، والتدريب ، وتيسير سبل العيش المستدامة في مشاريع المجتمع المحلي.
4. To increase scientific knowledge of the Negril Great Morass and related ecosystems in order to guide planning and management of the Negril Environmental Protection Area through the establishment of a Research Centre at the Reserve and the promotion of research at the Reserve. من اجل زيادة المعرفه العلميه للنيغريل مستنقع كبير والنظم الايكولوجيه ذات الصلة من اجل توجيه التخطيط والادارة للنيغريل مجال حمايه البيئة من خلال انشاء مركز للبحوث في الاحتياطي وتعزيز الابحاث في الاحتياطي.
5. To increase the financial independence and self-sustainability of NEPT and the Royal Palm Reserve by promoting the Reserve as an income-generating eco-tourism attraction. لزيادة الاستقلال المالي والاستدامه الذاتية للnept والنخيل الملكي الاحتياطي عن طريق تعزيز الاحتياطي باعتبارها مدرة للدخل الايكولوجيه الجذب السياحي.
The Royal Palm Reserve is without a doubt the best bird watching spot in all of Negril and one of the best choices for birdwatching in Jamaica. النخيل الملكي الاحتياطي هو من دون شك أفضل مشاهدة الطيور في كل بقعة من نيغريل واحدة من افضل الخيارات لمراقبة الطيور في جامايكا. You can view dozens of exotic bird species from Negril Jamaica on the Nature Walk with over a half mile of boardwalk which leads you on a beautiful walk to a 30 foot tower in the middle of the Morass which offers the best views of all of Negril. يمكنك الاطلاع على عشرات الانواع من الطيور الغريبه نيغريل جامايكا على طبيعه المشي مع اكثر من نصف ميل من الممر الذي يؤدي لكم علي جميل المشي على الأقدام الى 30 في البرج الاوسط من المستنقع الذي يوفر أفضل وجهات نظر كل من نيغريل. The lovely sounds of birds singing and chirping can be heard all day long at Royal Palm Reserve and the birdwatching is great year round according to some local fans of the Reserve. فان رائع أصوات الطيور النقيق الغناء ويمكن سماعها في كل يوم طويل النخيل الملكي الاحتياطي ومراقبة الطيور هي كبيرة على مدار السنة ووفقا لبعض المشجعين المحليين من الاحتياطى. The Reserve is home to the endangered and rare West Indian Whistling Ducks which you can see floating around in the stocked fish pond. الاحتياطي هي موطن النادرة والمهدده بالانقراض من جزر الهند الغربية الصفير البط الذي يمكنك ان ترى تطفو حول مخزون السمك في البركة. They are scared of people so keep quiet while observing or they will fly off. انها خاءفه من الناس حتى تبقى هادءه مع التقيد او انها ستطير من.
The Reserve keeps a pond stocked with Tilapia, or Red Jamaican Snapper as they are called in the local super markets, and they have a catch and release fishing program in effect right now. الاحتياطي يبقى بركة يخزنها مع البلطي ، الجامايكي النهاش الاحمر او ما يطلق عليه في الاسواق المركزية المحلية ، ولهم الصيد وصيد الأسماك الافراج عن البرنامج في واقع الحق الآن. During peak months or when the pond is overstocked they allow some catch and keep fishing based on the amount of water in the pond and fish available. الذروة خلال اشهر او عندما البركة هي overstocked فهي تتيح ابقاء بعض الصيد وصيد الأسماك على اساس كمية المياه في البركة والسمكيه المتاحة. Fishing in a stocked pond is kinda unfair to the fish but loads of fun for the kids and family. الصيد في بركة يخزنها هو kinda جاءره الى الاسماك ولكن الاحمال من المرح للاطفال والاسرة. We caught a few fish and let them go but my camera was left behind on that trip so no pictures of us fishing at the Royal Palm Reserve. وقعنا قليلة السمك وندعها تذهب الكاميرا ولكن بلدي تركت على ان اي رحلة حتى صور لنا الصيد في النخيل الملكي الاحتياطي. Fishing equipment is available upon request but bring a loaf of bread for bait and to feed the Whistling Ducks with. معدات صيد الاسماك هو متاح عند الطلب ولكن تأتي رغيف الخبز للطعم ولاطعام البط مع الصفير.
The Reserve has an alligator that lives within the confines of a caged pond. الاحتياطي التمساح له أن يعيش داخل حدود وجود محبوس البركة. We have only ever caught a glimpse of him and he seems very shy. ولا نملك الا صيدها من اي وقت مضى لمحت اليه وقال انه يبدو خجوله جدا. Could also be that it was hot as the sun and he was hiding in the waters of the swampy pond but we only ever saw him once in three trips. ويمكن ايضا ان كان ساخنا كما الشمس ، وكان يختبئ في المياه من المستنقعات البركة ولكن نحن فقط من اي وقت مضى رأوه مرة واحدة في ثلاث رحلات. I figured he was trained to answer someone who feeds him so I banged on a pipe used to water him and as soon as I did he popped his head above the murky waters. انني حظيت باهتمام تلقى تدريبا للاجابة على شخص الفيد له حتى انني أحدث ضجيجا على انابيب المياه المستخدمة لله في اقرب وقت وانا لم انه مفرقع رأسه فوق المياه مظلم. I think we scared him as we maneuvered for a better picture and he split never to pop up again. اعتقد اننا خائف منه كما اننا ناور من اجل رسم صورة أفضل وسعادة سبليت ابدا على شاشة عرض تصل مرة اخرى. Worth a look for sure but you may not get to see him every trip. يجدر القاء نظرة بالتأكيد ولكن لا يمكنك ان تحصل لأنظر له كل رحلة. The Royal Palm Reserve website advertises horseback riding but I never saw any signs of that on our trips, they may bring the horses in from someplace out of sight because the property requires advance booking for this special feature. النخيل الملكي الموقع الاحتياطي يعلن ركوب الخيل ولكني لم ير أي بوادر على أن لدينا رحلات ، وانهم قد جعل في مكان ما من الخيول فى بعيدا عن انظار لأن الممتلكات يتطلب الحجز المسبق لهذه الميزه الخاصة.
The best thing to do at Royal Palm Reserve is plan a picnic. افضل شيء تفعله في النخيل الملكي الاحتياطي هو خطة نزهة. The staff are well prepared to cook and feed groups up to 20 people with advance bookings or you can bring your own food and enjoy a nice day with friends or family and some good food and conversation. الموظفون بشكل جيد استعداد لكوك وتغذية الفئات يصل الى 20 شخصا مع حجوزات مسبقة او يمكنك اهتمامكم غذائه وتتمتع نيس اليوم مع الاصدقاء او العائلة وبعض الاغذيه وحسن الحديث. The natural beauty and awesome views will inspire some lively conversation on the wonders around you and maybe even make a difference in your day or your life. الجمال الطبيعي ومرعبه آراء ستلهم بعض بالحيويه المحادثة على المعجزات حولك وربما تحدث فرقا في بيانكم يوم أو حياتك.
The Royal Palm Reserve charges $10US per adult and $5 per child for access to the park all day long. النخيل الملكي الاحتياطي بتهمة 10us دولار لكل البالغين و 5 دولارات للطفل الواحد من أجل الوصول الى الحديقة كل يوم طويل. You can spend some time walking the nature trails, fishing the stocked ponds or watching the wildlife and time pass by and enjoy a beautiful day of nature while supporting a beautiful public space. يمكنك قضاء بعض الوقت المشي طبيعه المسارات ، فان الصيد يخزنها البرك او مشاهدة الحياة البرية والوقت يمر ويتمتع جميلة اليوم من طبيعه جميلة ، في حين ان دعم الفضاء العمومي. The museum on site offers a great educational opportunity and our kids had fun in the interactive attraction. المتحف على موقع يوفر فرصة عظيمة للتربية والمرح كان لدينا اطفال في الجذب التفاعلية. Learn about the biodiversity and local fauna and wildlife in the colorful and entertaining activities room at the museum and teach the next generation to appreciate the natural world as much as they do the electronic one most of us live in. تعرف على التنوع البيولوجي والحياة البرية والحيوانات المحلية في ملون والترفيه عن انشطه الغرفة في المتحف وتعليم الجيل القادم الى العالم الطبيعي نقدر بقدر ما تفعل الالكترونيه احدة معظمنا تعيش فيه.
If you are in the Negril area and don’t visit the Royal Palm Reserve you’ll miss out on some of the best views in Jamaica and upset me for not appreciating the natural beauty of the Negril Great Morass and the Royal Palms. إذا أنت في منطقة نيغريل ولا زيارة النخيل الملكي الاحتياطي ضيعت على بعض من أفضل الآراء في جامايكا ولي بالضيق لعدم تقدير الجمال الطبيعي للنيغريل مستنقع كبير والنخيل الملكي.
